The New and improved colour version, cuz well i got unlazy I suppose XD
anywho went for a more softer pastely look on the colours. had to do a few lineart edits too, cuz I realized, for one, that you'd be able to see the rest of the cat in Forevers hands. that and I added some details I forgot
The transparency effect was hard to pull off, but I really do like how it turned out overall
now for eveyone who didn't see the lineart, I shall post the junk I did on the last one, so you can get what I'm conveying XD
"mommy, you'll never guessed what happened today.," a little girl said as she bust through the door, clutching a small white and orange cat in her tiny arms.
"hmm?" her mother said as she turned around," oh you found Bubbles". She said as she skritting the creature under its chin as she got down to the child's level.
"yeah, he was stuck in a tree and wouldn't come down," the child said.
"oh, you did not climb that tree to get him did you. I told you about that, its not safe," the mother said somewhat scolding her daughter.
"no.. I didn't get him down.. a man helped me.." The little girl said very nonchalantly
"A man?," the mother got instinctively worried," what Man?"
" he was green and really tall. he had four arms and four eyes and big purple wings. He saw me crying because Bubbles wouldn't come down and asked me what was wrong. I told him then he got Bubbles down for me." the little girl said, exaggerating her talk with large hand gestures as she put her kitty down.," he was really nice..."
Her Mother just smiled and laughed a bit to her self as she got up," ah to be a child again, with such an over active imagination."
=B cute idea that I've actually had in my head for a while, just haven't had the gumption to draw it. =B Forever <3s him some kiddies. cuz their like the purest form of our race. They're innocent and not corrupted by the vices of greed and war and other things that make adults so brittle and cold. Also kids are not judging on appearances they accept people for who they are.
the reason hes so light, hes phased out, not suppose to be visible by anyone, but it turns out that kids, with their over active imaginations, can still see him when hes suppose to be invisible. but he doesn't find it to be a problem, There will just be lots of crude crayon drawings of him, and stories of the tall green robot man who they saw the other day... and convinced to have a tea party for a little while.
Alien Forever somewhat reminds me of Buddah every time I see him.
This drawing is great. I notice that you're useing alot more definition in your torso's now than anything else, still leaveing out some definition in the arms, but improvement'll come at your own pace. The situation is just too grand, showing that the character of Forever has changed alot since we last saw him which shows a sign of gradual development. The simple background with flat colors is amusing, but I think the part to be paying attention to here is the transparency effect on Forever holding Bubbles. The effect is really amazing (especially in the wings!) and I think people can learn from this very much so.
Really? You have trouble doing transparencies? For that I usually just make a new layer and decrease the transparency. >.> Vewy vewy cyuuuute. =3 As always.
that is just gorgeous. from the soft, pastels to the transparent view on forever, to how his legs are bent trying to reach down to the child to the little hearts as words. i think my favorite part is the kitten, it's just so damn cute!
great, great work, really complex, definitely a fave. :}

Most epic Sony and Alicia conversation ever:
Sony-Shock: 'Awwwww, I can't find that big grey glove!' I have the shades and the black glove...'
Alicia: 'Don't you find your Slash interior?'
